Established in 1985, Paz Music Center has been serving the needs of musicians and teachers in Kearny, NJ. Thousands of students have received lessons in our studios over the past 35+ years.
Our mission started with the simple goal of sharing the international language of Music with others. After 35+ years, we remain loyal to our beginnings, and hope to speak Music with you and your family soon!

You can learn on any of the following: Acoustic Piano, Digital Piano, Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, Violin and Trumpet in one location in our studios at Paz Music, to give you the BEST music lesson experience that we can offer.

We have many music teachers, all with either college training, performance experience, or years of teaching experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. With multiple teachers for every instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lesson.
3. On-site auditions with independent and certified judge.
On an annual basis, auditions are hosted by members of the National Guild of Piano Teachers (Teacher Division of the American College of Musicians). These non-competitive auditions are held in several US cities and several foreign countries, where students are evaluated by an independent and certified judge, and receive a report card, certificate, and fraternity pin.
A student may perform a minimum of 1 or a maximum of 20 memorized pieces for entry in the non-competitive Annual National Piano Playing Auditions and will be members of the NFSM (National Fraternity of Student Division of American College of Musicians).
4. Lessons available multiple days a week!
We are open for music lessons multiple days throughout the week, after school and late at night to accommodate your busy schedule.
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesdays.
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesdays.
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Fridays.
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Paz Music has a proven track record of offering quality music, piano, guitar, violin, saxophone, trumpet, drums, and ukulele lessons for students from Kearny, NJ , Harrison, NJ, and North Arlington, NJ, and surrounding areas year round. Our full time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by over 1,200 families for over thirty five years.

Due to its central location, our school is convenient to surrounding towns in the tri-county area (Hudson, Essex, and Bergen counties). Apart from being close to all schools in Kearny, we have many students attending music lessons from Harrison, Newark, Belleville, Passaic, Patterson, North Arlington, Lyndhurst, Rutherford, and Jersey City.
7. A comfortable parent's waiting area for our clients.
Our clients enjoy a comfortable setting. In the waiting area, you can sit comfortably, reading, resting or catching up on work.
8. Instrument rentals available for most instruments.
Paz Music offers rentals on most instruments through a 3rd party vendor. Instruments will be shipped on the next business day and can be shipped directly to your home or school. The Rent to Buy program means payments can be applied for purchase of the instrument at the end of the rental period.
9. Sibling Discount & Multi Instrument Discount.
Families (siblings only) of 2 or more students will receive a discount of $5 per month per student. Most siblings choose to take lessons at the same time, saving both time and money.
Student’s learning 2 instruments or more, or receiving an hour weekly lesson will also receive a discount of $5 per month per instrument.
10. No Contract = Month to Month lessons.
Paz Music does not require an annual contract or semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. If you submit a withdrawal form by the 15th of the month, you may stop attending your lessons at the end of that month.

Sign up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff at the front desk ready to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.

PRICING
$27.50 / 30 minutes
Every person at our Academy is enrolled in a monthly membership. We do not offer the option to pay per lesson or "pay as you go".
Charges are billed monthly at $110 per month.
Lessons are currently available four days a week, and scheduled once a week for 30 minutes.
A one-time registration fee is only $50 (due at the time of registration).
